This plant is the first captive solar open access project.

AMPIN Energy Transition has set up a captive solar open access project in Uttar Pradesh. This project is spread across 98.11 acres of land in Payagpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The power supplied from this solar plant is used by MP Birla Corporation for meeting their energy requirements at 2 of their manufacturing facilities located in Kundanganj, Rae Bareilly.

The plant generates about 4,43,15,000 units annually and replaces almost 75% and 50% of power requirements at the 2 facilities of MP Birla Corporation.
