Case Studies

  • Wind Solar Hybrid

Case Study: 207 MWp Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Plant at Village Neemba, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

This plant is AMPIN’s first solar wind hybrid project.

AMPIN Energy Transition has been awarded Letter of Award (LOA) for setting up of 207 MWp Solar-Wind Hybrid power project. The PPA for this project is with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for 25 years from COD. The project will be designed to connect with ISTS network of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) at 220 kV level of 220/400 kV side of Fatehgarh-IV SS.

This project will diversify AMPIN’s portfolio by adding wind to the mix. Power from this project will help various DISCOMs (end procurer) to fulfil their solar and non -solar RPO as per RPO obligations.

  • Solar

Case Study: 450 MW Solar Power Plant at Village Badi Sid & Ranjeet Nagar, Jodhpur, Rajasthan

This plant is under different tranches of SECI and NTPC.

AMPIN Energy Transition has been awarded Letter of Award (LOA) for setting up of 150 MW each Solar power plant by SECI and NTPC. These capacities have been awarded to AMPIN under the SECI VIII, IX and NTPC solar tender auctions.

The project will be designed to connect with ISTS network of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) at 220 kV level of 220/400 kV side of Bhadla-II SS. The plant would be instrumental in avoiding 576,463 MT of CO2 annually over the life of the project. Power from this project will help various DISCOMs who are the end procurers to fulfil their solar RPO as per their RPO obligations.

  • Distributed Generation/ Government

Case Study: Kochi Metro Rail Ltd.- 8MWp (Ground Mount + Rooftop), Kochi, Kerala

This project can set the right example and provide the momentum for mass public transport across cities in India to switch to sustainable energy sources and help meet India’s climate goals.AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned the first phase of this project, which is 2.670MWP in capacity and is working on constructing second phase of 5.4MW. This project is a combination of panels installed on ground, rooftop and metro stations which demonstrate AMPIN’s capabilities of providing flexible solutions tailored to the customer requirements across project types.
