This Plant post its extension will be the Largest Solar Rooftop Globally.AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned an 8.5MW (Phase 1) rooftop solar plant for Skoda Auto Volkswagen India in Pune, Maharashtra. The rooftop solar plant is installed at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India’s manufacturing unit in MIDC Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra. The plant will meet estimated 15% of its energy needs at its manufacturing unit. The plant is now getting extended (Phase 2 under construction) and will be the largest rooftop solar plant globally once the additional capacity comes online.
